FLAGSTAFF BRANCH
Southwest Fencing Club’s (SWFC) Flagstaff Branch, in partnership with YMCA, offers year-round opportunity to learn and participate in the sport of fencing. We train beginning fencers and enable intermediate and experienced fencers to practice and to prepare for competition. One-on-one lessons and drills with a coach are available to all.

Learn to Fence
For those who like to give fencing a try, the requirement to join the YMCA is waived for the first two weeks. If after two weeks you decide to continue, a YMCA membership will be required. The only cost of the two-week trial is $15 for a USA Fencing membership. We will provide all the equipment you need. For those who join the YMCA after the trial period, the Y does not charge members any additional fee for fencing.
Fencing is recommended for ages 12 and up. Many fencers begin as adults.
Fees
Fencing is free to YMCA members, subject to payment of club dues of $20 per month. There are also daily passes available to non-YMCA members.
